Title: Question for you Jay Slice

Is this worth getting day one in ten days or better to wait for the price drop? What's the button mapping for it too? There is going to be online multiplayer in this one too, not like the botched Japanese one.

This video should dismiss all those pesky questions:

I saw that commercial already, but it's a SF game with like 1,2,A,B,-,+ buttons. Can you use at least the Gamecube controller?

There's several control schemes which breaks the game for competitive play online.
Players using the Wii mote/Nunchuck can pull off shoryukens with a single button. Using the classic controller puts you in the standard Street Fighter combo input. Never tried the gamecube controller since it's a retarded piece of shit, but I know there's a control scheme for it.
It's alright gameplay wise, but you'd be better off getting MvC2 on Live or PSN if you want online competitive play. I don't even know any of those tatsunoko characters, first time I ever heard of any of them was when this game was announced.
Anyway, I'm not even bothering with redownloading the American version of the game, I played it for a couple hours and moved on, with such a small roster and half of them unknown and looking extremely corny and unforgivably dated, a mash up fighter like this just didn't have any staying power. Especially since I snatched it up and played it when I was rocking SFIV on 360 and BlazBlue in the arcade. Though the possibility of a Zero/Viewtiful Joe team is pretty awesome in the US version.
Maybe it'll last longer for you though since it's not a heavy fighting game season.
Anyway, pricedrop.

It surprises me they're promoting it this much though, as Raven said, many of the characters are unknown in the West.

It was a shock to everyone that it made it stateside. it's one thing to intro a new brand with a new cast, but in a mashup fighter like this, more emphasis and hype is placed on those dream matches you always wanted to see. I doubt many people care to see Ryu take on Casshern.
I'm sure it'll make the tourny rounds until half the cast is banned from play because the balance in this game is nonexistant unless they seriously overhauled it.
