Title: World Cup

Ishamael - June 11, 2010 08:32 AM (GMT)
Unless I'm mistaken the first game is starting in less than 6 hours. Anyone else going to be catching as many games as they can?

Pyoro Pyoro - June 11, 2010 08:37 AM (GMT)
No, not a big soccer fan. I'll watch any US matches I can, the final match, and any matches among the "bigs" like argentina and brazil.

Silverskater145 - June 11, 2010 09:55 AM (GMT)
I'm watching any live games I can get. Anything I miss I'll watch on espn3.com

Brasil to win it all.

My hate for the Vuvuzela is rising by the second.
2x45mins of WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

Silverskater145 - June 11, 2010 06:23 PM (GMT)
I knew from watching the Confed. Cup that the vuvuzelas would suck. I'm disappointed they weren't banned.

Trowble - June 12, 2010 12:40 AM (GMT)
I only watch soccer when the World Cup comes around. I could care less any other time.

Monday let's go! FORZA ITALIA BITCHES!

Skillzpay - June 12, 2010 01:06 AM (GMT)
Well at least it's good to know Hassun has some kind of interest in sports.

Hassun - June 12, 2010 05:31 PM (GMT)
It's not like I follow any sports closely. Certainly not football/soccer.
But I can watch any type of sports at a high level. It's usually good to see people/teams who are at the top of their game.

Oh boy, the goalkeeper for England is going to get shat on like he's never been shat on before.

Lakers vs Celtics?

Hassun - June 13, 2010 03:13 PM (GMT)
NBA isn't broadcast around here unfortunately (nor is NFL or NHL for that matter).
Sometimes they show some of the highlights of major matches like the NBA finals between LA and Boston but not much more. Aren't they tied at the moment?

Raiiban - June 13, 2010 05:43 PM (GMT)
I tend to not keep up with little girl sports like soccer, but why is everyone saying the US won over england when it was a tie? Also why do people suddenly care?

Cuz the US has no business beating or tying with them. And Olympics aside, the Worldcup is the largest sports event for the most popular worldwide sport.

They did great in the confederations cup didn't they. The USA is a rising force in football/soccer for sure.

Especially if USA beats them in the 2nd game, he'll won't be a lucky camper.
