For the past month or so I've enabled Administrator Verification in order to join the forums. What's this mean? Basically if you register a new account, you aren't getting anywhere or even viewing this site unless I personally approve of it. And since I'm a dick I usually leave people in limbo and let their accounts expire. Occasionally I'll run through and delete all the accounts in the queue.

Basically, ITT I post the names and email addresses of every dumbass who has attempted to join our site and got shot down by yours truly. Speak up if you recognize some of them so we can have a good laugh.

Can't find anything on Shinzo due to the fact it's a common name.

I put him in a different category than pyoro because I've never seen him involved in drama, at all. Of course, in Pyoro's case, he was dragged into the drama.

True, the only time I've seen him do something even remotely attention grabbing was when he started his "flame" attacks on this site.

That's actually a good idea. Raven could make a thread there explaining to all the n00bies that the only way to get full access to the forums is to prove their worth in the Fight Arena.

That. Is entertainment. Plus, we get to mess with them without really letting them on our forums. And, it's another good way of weaving out anyone we don't want.

Kind of like what the Romans did with the colleseum.

new members will be added to a new user group called "Sacrifices" they can view, reply, and if they're stupid enough, start threads ONLY in the Fight Arena. I approved the three accounts still in the queue. seee if any of them actually drop by.

When joining up they should be confronted with a notice that the fresh meat needs to prove itself in the fighting arena first.
Promise them candy if they succeed.

I've gone through and promoted everyone form the Members section to the newly made Community Members tier, then I changed the Members section to use the same configuration I had for the Sacrifices, this means that people will be able to join without my authorization and the only thing they see is the Fight Arena.

I tried to remake the auto PM function for new members, but the code I used before has several bugs in it from recent board changes, in fact if you clicked the inbox to see the PM that was sent to you, it would log you into MY name without prompting a password or anything, basically free access to ME and an admin account. teh fuck?

Anyway no auto PM, i'm sure they'll figure it out anyway.

If they don't figure that out they shouldn't even be allowed to use the internet.
